If you are looking for a fun and unique restaurant experience, definitely swing by the Hofbräuhaus.  This German restaurant allows you not only a taste of the German culture through its beer and food, but also through their live entertainment and decor which is why it made our top ten things to do in St. Pete list. Steeped in Bavarian tradition, you may dine on German cuisine every night of the week, with some dishes using imported ingredient from abroad. Every Saturday from October to May since 2002, the St. Pete community gets together to eat, shop, relax, and listen to fantastic music. It’s the perfect place to stop by and wander around enjoying the beautiful sunny weather with friends and family.

Visit the old-time, open-air Al Lang stadium to watch an exciting game played by the local Tampa Bay Rowdies soccer team. Since the Rowdies franchise came to be in the 70’s, fans have fiercely supported their team and you can feel their energetic atmosphere all around you. So if you are a soccer fan make sure to come and watch an action packed live match.

#6 Top Thing to Do in St. Pete – Relax on Fort De Soto Beach

Relax and soak up the sun on one of St. Pete’s favorite beaches. It is one of the largest parks within the county system with over 1,000 acres and five interconnected islands. Listed as the top beach in America in 2009 by Trip Advisor, this park offers more than sand and water.

You may explore the wetlands, mangroves, native plants, over 300 bird species, and palm hammocks. During the months between April and September, the beach also provides a refuge to the loggerhead sea turtle. Whether you relax or explore the park, you will become entranced by the natural beauty of this beach. Fort De Soto Beach makes it to our top things to do in St. Pete because there are various activities to participate in at the park such as, biking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and exploring the ancient fort.
